Francesca Owings

Principal Interior Designer - ASID, NCIDQ

Collaborating with many of West Michigan’s finest architects and builders, Francesca has established her place as a leading Interior Design professional. Her distinguished portfolio includes a diverse range of projects ranging from new construction of fine custom homes, charming lake cottages, residential kitchen and bath remodels and elegant day spas.

When it comes to creating beautiful interior space, Francesca relies on her ability to clearly understand each client’s visions, aspirations and lifestyle. Her goal is then to create a harmonious environment that is not only functional but reflects each client’s individual personality and tastes.

Francesca received her degree in Interior Design from Michigan State University and has over two decades of professional experience. She is currently a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is NCIDQ certified. She resides in East Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband, Mark, and children, Andrew and Mia.

Alexandra Hubbell

Lead Interior Designer

As a highly skilled Lead Interior Designer, Alex brings our team over a decade of experience in managing large-scale, full-service interior design projects. A graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design in 2015, Alex has honed her expertise in transforming spaces into functional, aesthetically compelling environments.

With a strong focus on organization and collaboration, Alex excels at fostering positive relationships with clients, architects, and builders.

Alex resides in West Michigan with her husband, Luke, and their rescue dog, Milo. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach and embracing the outdoors with her family.

Ashlin Stedman

Interior Designer

Ashlin earned her degree in Interior Design from Central Michigan University in 2019. Since then, she has built a strong foundation in managing high-end residential design projects, specializing in project management, detailed space planning, and furniture layouts. She believes that organization and clear client communication are the keys to a successful design process, ensuring that each project is not only beautiful but also well-executed.

Outside of design, Ashlin lives in Grand Rapids, MI with her husband Blake and their beloved boxer, Maverick. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, skiing, traveling, and attending concerts.

Autumn Cockroft

Interior Designer

Autumn is a creative and detail-oriented interior designer, bringing fresh perspective and strong technical expertise to every project. As a 2024 graduate of the Interior Design School at Central Michigan University, she is highly skilled in drafting with AutoCAD and 3D modeling with SketchUp, enabling her to turn complex concepts into clear, compelling visual plans.

Autumn lives in Grand Rapids with her two cats, Rex and Tux. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, playing volleyball, and spending time at the beach.

Angie Henckel

Studio Manager

As the Studio Manager, Angie plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the design team. Her responsibilities include new client onboarding, coordinating schedules, and conducting in-depth product research and specifications for furnishings and materials.

With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Angie is also responsible for providing accurate furnishing estimates, ordering and tracking furnishings, artwork, and accessories, and overseeing the installation of projects on-site. Angie’s ability to coordinate multiple tasks ensures that projects run seamlessly, allowing the design team to focus on creating beautiful, personalized spaces.

Angie’s dedication to client satisfaction has made her an invaluable part of the Francesca Owings Interior Design team.

Mark Owings

Finance and Marketing

Bringing years of experience to the design studio with a focus on business development, Mark works behind the scenes in finance and marketing. His expertise in financial strategy and marketing helps drive the studio’s growth while supporting its creative and operational goals. His contributions are essential in ensuring the business runs smoothly, allowing the design team to focus creatively and deliver exceptional results.

Upon completion of each project, Mark also ensures that capturing professional photography is the finishing touch, showcasing a beautiful transformation from start to finish.

Mark received his degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and currently resides in East Grand Rapids with his wife, Francesca, and children, Andrew and Mia.
